Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a sophisticated, high-value burglary at the Stoneleigh Valley Golf Club. In the early hours of Monday morning, an organized gang bypassed the main security gates and smashed through the reinforced glass of the clubhouse, clearing out the professional shop in a matter of minutes.

Thieves made off with an estimated £35,000 worth of premium stock, including custom-fitted clubs, designer golf apparel, and two state-of-the-art launch monitors used for coaching.

"This is a devastating blow right at the start of our busiest season," said Head Professional, Ian Davies, who arrived at 6:00 AM to find the shop floor covered in shattered glass. "This wasn't an opportunistic smash-and-grab. They knew exactly what they were looking for. They completely ignored the entry-level equipment and went straight for the top-tier drivers and our most expensive tracking technology."

Local authorities believe the gang likely used a cloned key fob to access the main driveway before disabling the external CCTV. The rural crime team is warning all regional sporting clubs to be on high alert and is urging the Stoneleigh community to report any suspicious, heavily discounted golf equipment appearing on local online marketplaces. Meanwhile, the club remains open for play, but the coaching academy has been forced to suspend all lessons until the stolen technology can be replaced.
